WERNER BERG – HET LEVEN ALS KUNST – LIVE AS ART

The German economist Werner Berg settled in the 1930s in Carinthia, where he worked as a farmer and also pursued his real passion, painting.

These paintings are now being exhibited in the Chabot Museum in Rotterdam. The striking white villa, designed by architect G.W. Baas in 1938, features light and airy rooms and a unique view overlooking the museum park and its surroundings.
