The Power of Artificial Intelligence in the Translation Service of the European Commission

Are you interested in AI-applications for translation? Then do not miss the workshop “The power of AI in the translation service of the European Commission” on 8 November 2022!

This second workshop in the series “Language and technology: a successful combination” focuses on the rapidly developing technology of “semantic similarity”, which allows to detect similarities in topics and content of texts and contributes to a smoother translation workflow.

During the workshop, members of the Innovation Lab — AI Network of DG Translation of the European Commission will present the latest research developments in this field. You will get insight into the (possible) applications of AI in the workflow of the translation service of the European Commission (DGT) and learn how to work with it in a hands-on session.

The workshop is suitable for students and professionals with a linguistic as well as a computer science background.
