“The Land within” (CH/Kosovo) at the Eastern Neighbors Film Festival Eastern Neighbours Film Festival

The Embassy of Kosovo and Switzerland to the Netherlands present the movie “The Land Within” and invited the director Fisnik Maxville to The Hague.

His moving film is part of “Young generation stories” and tells the story of Remo, who returns to his childhood village after years of exile. There he must help his adoptive cousin Una exhume a mass grave where most of her family members were buried during the war. The bodies reveal family secrets that make Remo and Una question their past and their future.

A film about leaving and being left, arriving and departing and the possibility of truth in a place that only knows survival.
