The Embassy of Hungary invites you to the online screening of the movie The Exam (A Vizsga), available on December 8 to all those who are interested in Hungarian cinematographic productions and live in the Netherlands.
In Budapest in 1957, a year after the Hungarian 1956 revolution, Jung (Zsolt Nagy) is a mid-level agent informing on many other citizens who come to report to him. He is in charge for an elaborate testing process to ascertain loyalty to János Kádár’s regime, but he does not realize that he is being watched and photographed too, by his superior and mentor, Marko (János Kulka). Jung receives a visit from Eva (Gabriella Hámori) and around the relationship between them the story unfolds…
The Hungarian drama directed by Péter Bergendy in 2011 will be available in the original language with subtitles in English.
