The Europe Readr Pavilion travels to Drenthe (Embassy of Slovenia)
October 7 @ 15:30 - 18:00Free
Open a book for a better future!
The international project Europe Readr continues its journey across the Netherlands, this time heading to the Emmen Library. Europe Readr is the flagship project of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, an initiative that kicked-off in Amsterdam on September 22.
The Europe Readr pavilion is an artistic installation designed and built by a group of students of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment TU Delft. These four young architects participated and won a contest organised by a few professors of TU Delft in collaboration with EUNIC Netherlands. Christopher Bierach, Dimitris Ntoupas, Tim Schumann, and Thomas Lindemann created what became the symbol of the Europe Readr project in the Netherlands, offering to the public of the country a reading space that, after being inaugurated in Amsterdam, will now travel to the North. Next stop: de Bibliotheek Emmen.
The Europe Readr kick-off event in the Library of Emmen will take place on October 7, from 15:30 until 18:00, with international guest speakers from the participating partners.
