On December 16 and 17, de Brakke Grond presents RIGHTABOUTNOW INC. the RIGHTABOUTNOW INC. Festival 2022. The opening of the festival on December 15 will take place in Bar Bario.
The RIGHTABOUTNOW Festival is a platform for remarkable new artists from different disciplines that reflect the polyphony of the city. In these times of enormous crisis and transition, there seems to be a need for this more than ever. The RAN Festival focuses on the pulse of urban arts and a new generation of artists who cannot be pigeonholed. De Brakke Grond has programmed a number of Flemish artists such as Oriana Ikomo, Mathieu Charles, Miss Angel and DJ Insecure.
After the online corona edition in 2020, there is now a versatile program with dynamic hip-hop, interspersed with vulnerable poetry, theatre, dance, film, talks and exciting musical encounters.
