Konrad (Jürgen Prochnow), 85, is mostly in a bad mood. And now his daughter wants to adopt the children of her lesbian girlfriend. Thurba (Milena Pribak), 10, runs away from the police who want to deport her family. But that is only possible if all the children are home. So Thurba jumps off the second floor and runs away for her family. Konrad wakes up in the middle of the night. Wasn’t there something in the basement? He sneaks down quietly, armed with a nail gun, and fires into the darkness. He meets little Thurba, screaming. Thurba has nowhere to go and he shot her. But the girl from Yemen moves him, whether he likes it or not. When Thurba proposes a deal, he has to make a decision.
