What does it mean to tell a story through the eyes of women? Through Her Eyes: The female gaze in German Cinema is a film series curated by the Goethe-Institut Netherlands. Over a period of five months, we present a selection of films that give an insight into women’s cinematic work, from female perspectives, with female voices and the urge to bring the patriarchy to a halt.
