The Last Night of the World

The Théâtre de l’Avalanche, the company of the Alliance Française de La Haye is pleased to present : The Last Night of the World.
“In the middle of a changing world, in the not so distant future, a couple is torn apart by the question: “Can we do without the night? A “miracle pill” allows everyone to sleep for 45 minutes and wake up feeling like they’ve had a full night. We will become even more productive. Is this the beginning of the end?”
This play is not recommended for children under 12. It contains scenes of violence and murder.
The plays will be performed on 11, 12 and 13 May 2023, with doors opening at 7.30 pm at the Laaktheater. The plays start at 20.00 hrs.
Written by Laurent Gaudé, French novelist (Goncourt Prize) and playwright (with the collaboration of Belgian director Fabrice Murgia) and directed by Pascal Milard, professor of French and drama at the Alliance Française in The Hague.
