The Baltic Vibes – De Baltische Middag

Join us for some breathtaking performances from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania! An impressive Estonian singer, Kadri Tegelmann, will provide a catchy musical performance. In addition to that you will enjoy flash presentations of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian books. The books depict important stories of the history of the Baltic countries, which have recently been translated into Dutch. We´ll finish off with some authentic Baltic tastes!

Estonia: “De dood van de perfecte zin” by Rein Raud, translated by Frans van Nes
Latvia: “Moedermelk” by Nora Ikstena, translated by Brenda Lelie
Lithuania: “Peters keizerin“ by Kristina Sabaliauskaitė, translated by Anita van der Molen
