Suono Italiano: Jazz Session 2022. Dario Napoli Manouche Project

The Italian Cultural Institute of Amsterdam presents the project, ITALIAN SOUND:jazz session. in collaboration with CIDIM (Italian National Committee of Music).
The project features the DARIO NAPOLI MANOUCHE PROJECT, with Dario Napoli on the lead guitar, Tommaso Papini on the rhythm guitar and Tonino de Sensi on the electric bass.

Although Django Reinhardt is the main inspiration behind the trio, in his Modern Manouche Project
Dario Napoli performs a version of gypsy swing that introduces elements of more modern musical styles
such as bebop, funk and modern jazz. The result is an unpredictable and exuberant sound, which is inspired by various musical eras and which leads the listener through a rich and vibrant sound experience, without ever completely abandoning the gypsy imprint of Django.
The trio has performed in several major jazz festivals.
