Author Mareike Fallwickl is coming to the Netherlands on the occasion of the German-Dutch translation competition. On April 18 and 19 she will talk about her work, novels in which women and the problems they have to deal with in today’s world are in the center. How far is emancipation now? Is #MeToo still relevant?
Her current novel “The Rage That Remains” shows how the old behavioral patterns and learned social structures still work and how women are threatened to sink in them.
