What are you waiting for? During Museumnacht010 the Institute of Waiting opens its doors at Westersingel 9. Artist Merel Smitt welcomes you to her temporary laundromat where you can have a unique waiting experience every hour (20:15, 21:15, 22:15, 23:15 and 0:15). We wash and wait. The Institute of Waiting is exploring different experiences and systems around waiting as part of Goethe Investigating. What role does waiting play in our lives and how can we experience our waiting time differently? The Institute of Waiting seeks to transform this often invisible, sometimes unconscious and always individual event into one that is active, visible and collective. Become part of our waiting
