The Goethe-Institut is currently hosting five artistic research projects as part of the Goethe
Investigating programme. The former library, event halls and staff room are now studios for short-
term residencies. Since February 2023, Charli Herrington, Mingus Janssen, Kate Price and Guillem
Arquer as well as Merel Smitt and Nicola Unger have been working with us for three months and will
open their studios during Art Central XL for visitors to look, try out, talk.
Also on view during Art Central XL: Passages en Passant No. 6 with works by Daniela de Paulis &
Benjamin Earl. Passages en Passant is a series of exhibitions in the corridor of the Goethe-Institut in
which two artists enter into dialogue with each other. The series is organised with the support of the
CBK Rotterdam.
