On Tuesday 20 April 2023, from 13:00 to 17:00, DG Translation of the European Commission, in collaboration with Universiteit Utrecht and Drongo, is organizing the event “Exploring the Potential of Language Technology in Creative Writing and Translation”. The event takes place at Universiteit Utrecht (University Quarter, City Centre).
During this third workshop in the series “Language and Technology: A Winning Combination” we will explore what AI has on offer for creative writers and translators, both theoretically and in hands-on sessions. We will address the technological needs of language professionals, interrogate the usefulness of technological solutions in our industry and look for ways to overcome obstacles that hinder progress in the field of creative language technology.
