Día de los muertos: make your own altar!

Día de muertos is one of the main celebrations in Mexico. On the 1st and 2nd of November, families get ready to honour and receive their deceased loved ones. According to this tradition, souls visit the world of the living once a year to see their family members, who wait for them with an altar full of the things that the deceased person used to love.

We invite you to create your own altar. During this workshop you will learn to understand Día de los muertos in its cultural context and identify the elements that compose this beautiful celebration.
