Daniel Schinasi – “A Message in Motion”

The Italian artist and founder of the neofuturist movement, Daniel Schinasi (1933, Egypt – 2021, France), would have turned 90 this year, 60 years of which were dedicated to painting.
The exhibition is curated by Sarah and Manuela Schinasi with the collaboration for the catalog by painter Katia Cirinei. The catalog will be presented at the opening by international architect and museologist James Bradburne. The exhibition was created in collaboration with Paola Cordone, director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam and the Embassy of Italy in the Netherlands.
At the same time as this exhibition, the exhibition “A Message in motion – Drawings and Documentaries around the Neofuturism” will be on display at the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam, featuring original drawings on themes dear to Schinasi: music, composers, nature, man’s work, as well as documentaries around Neofuturism.
