Biennale: Le Latitudini dell’Arte – IV edition Netherlands and Italy (Istituto Italiano di Cultura)
July 10 - August 1Free
With the aim of promoting and encouraging artistic and cultural exchange between Italy and other European countries, the Biennale was established in 2013 and, since then, has been able to charm art lovers beyond national borders. The Istituto Italiano di Cultura Amsterdam is delighted to announce the landing of the fourth edition Netherlands – Italy, and invites you to attend the exhibition ‘Le Latitudini dell’Arte’ Italy – The Netherlands at Pulchri Studio, in The Hague.
Created in Genoa in 2019 with the collaboration of Palazzo Ducale Fondazione per la Cultura, the exhibition of this fourth edition of the Biennale in the Netherlands is organised by Art Commission, and focuses on the theme ‘Water and Light’. The Biennale, conceived and curated by Virginia Monteverde, includes the participation of about sixty Italian and Dutch artists and, as in previous editions, the artists have been selected thanks to the collaboration of galleries and foundations of both countries – in a truly European spirit, in the name of Art.
Le Latitudini dell’Arte will be inaugurated at Pulchri Studio in Den Haag on July 10 at 15:00 in the presence of Virginia Monteverde, curator, Giorgio Novello, Ambassador of Italy to The Netherlands, Paola Cordone, director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam, and Marieta Reijerkerk, chairman of Pulchri Studio. The event will be accompanied by the musical performance of New Phoenix Ensemble: Letizia Maulà, clarinet, and Sylvia Cempini, cello.
