International Women’s Day: Women On The Move

As part of the celebration of International Women’s Day, EUNIC Netherlands is proud to announce a programme of debate and dance, by and for all women and allies.

The event will take place at OBA Amsterdam on March 7th, from 17:30 – 19:45.

Under the slogan ‘Women on the move. Women and dance’, EUNIC Netherlands will bring together a group of female professionals from different artistic, geographical and feminist backgrounds to discuss the position of dance. An international perspective, as well as current challenges and opportunities, will be presented from a wide female point of view. With Fransien van der Putt as moderator and Kristin de Groot, Amparo González Sola, Andrea Hackl and Annemijn Rijk, as panelists.
After the panel discussion, The United Ukrainian Ballet will perform a special choreography and some of the dancers will talk about their dramatic experience in the current war situation, as well as their work as refugees at the ‘Dutch Centre for Ukrainian Dancers’ in The Hague.
