After notallwhowanderarelost (2014) and Liedje voor Gigi (2018), Benjamin Verdonck has created a choreography for life-sized figures, an unusual planetarium made out of adhesive tape, strings and cardboard.
‘Things’ have played an important role in Benjamin Verdonck’s theatre work for some time now. But while he previously acted as a sceneshifter who manipulated these objects, forms and planes and then gave them a voice, it is now the ‘things’ that monopolise centre stage and contest the role of the actor. There will be two identical performances at de Brakke Grond, on December 8 at 20:00 and December 9 at 20:00. Tickets can be purchased here.
