Artists’ talk with Francesco Candeloro

As part of the exhibition ALTERNE VISIONI, a project in Amsterdam that shows the work of two artists, the Francesco Candeloro (1974) and Marc Philip van Kempen (1979),the Istituto Italiano di Culture and Breed Art Studios are organising an artists’ talk with Franceso Candelore.

Francesco Candeloro was born in Venice in 1974. Light and colour, space and time, form and sign, proportion, rhythm and movement, transparency, reflection, layering and a multitude of coexisting levels are the themes of the work of this artist. Since his debut in 1996, Francesco Candeloro has exhibited abroad in a large number of important solo and group exhibitions. He also realized installations in architectural and landscape environments and contexts, including Palazzo Fortuny in Venice, the Palladian villa in Bagnolo di Lonigo and the Kunstverein in Aschaffenburg.

For Breed Art Studios, Francesco Candeloro is developing a comparison of various works, from paper installations to Plexiglas works, including a site-specific window created for the occasion.

During the talk, the exhibition catalog, edited by Luca Rezzolla, will be presented.
