Fibonacci – the Czech contribution to the CINEDANS’21 festival (Tsjechisch Centrum)

The 17th edition of the Cinedans Festival will be available online, from March 26 to March 28, with a spectacular celebration of dance on screen.
The Festival presents 116 films from 36 countries in the International Shorts Competition, the International Student Competition, the Best of Covid 19 Dance Shorts, and the state of the art of the Dutch dance film. Among the numerous participants there will be also a Czech contribution with the short dance film Fibonacci, by the director Tomáš Hubáček and the coreographer Marie Gourdain.
A human herd moves through undulating fields until an obscure hunter crosses his path. Dance film, or audiovisual meditation, on Fibonacci patterns in the landscape, herd behavior, film structure and music. Fibonacci is a sequence of numbers that form a pattern and is related to the golden ratio.
