Daria Bouwman studied German language and literature and psycho-/neurolinguistics in Berlin and Freiburg i.B. With a binational personal background, she has always focused on Europe and the international context.
She has worked for more than 20 years as cultural representative at the Austrian Embassy in The Hague and has been active for EUNIC Netherlands since 2006. She also held the presidency in the past and has been an active participant in countless EUNIC projects.
Nina Hauer studied Law and Fine Arts, and later focussed on combining the two in Culture & Artsmanagement. She has always been interested in Europe and the international context, in both her work and personal life, and studied/worked in Canada, Italy, the Dutch Antilles, Belgium and Australia.
After working at the cultural department of the Dutch Embassy in Canberra, Australia and various (international) jobs in the Dutch cultural field, she is currently working as the Cultural Manager for the Hungarian Embassy in The Hague. Being passionate about supporting and promoting (the importance of) culture world wide, Nina is motivated to further expand EUNIC NL and its activities

Sophie Logothetis studied the BA History followed by the MA Eastern European studies at the University of Amsterdam. She then later focused and still focuses on European culture; organising cultural events, worked as a language coach with refugees, organised training courses for adult learners on social innovation in Europe – Dealing with conflict and diversity, and is currently working for DutchCulture as a project manager Europe for Citizens and EUNIC (the European Union National Institutes for Culture).
Piet Ruig studied the BA Philosophy, Politics and Economics at King’s College London. During these studies he developed a keen interest in European politics and society, alongside a longstanding appreciation for the arts. This lead him to intern at EUNIC, after which he hopes to continue his studies in Politics and Philosophy.
Apart from his work at EUNIC, he is a regular contributor to the RedPers magazine.
