Did you know that there is a Spanish association in The Hague? Together they speak Spanish and talk about the Spanish language and culture. In 2020, the Spanish association (Asoha) had their 100th birthday, which they are celebrating this year.

The event will take place on June 11 at the Carlton Hotel, which will include a conference on “Love and intellectual relationships between Emilia Pardo Bazán and Benito Pérez Galdós”, by Professor Emeritus Dr. Germán Gullón. Afterwards there will be a toast with a glass of Cava and Dutch tapas followed by a buffet with Spanish flavours (potato omelette, tuna empanadas and paella).

The second part of the event will consist of the projection of a video about El Capricho de Gaudí, followed by a Videoconference with the Museum of El Capricho de Gaudí in Comillas. There will also be a guitar concert by Álvaro Peón García.
